About Me
Hello! I was born and raised in North Carolina and I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.A. in Communication Studies: Media Studies and Production. I fell in love with film through various classes and projects even more than ever before and knew I wanted film to be my life. So, I went to school in L.A., California and graduated from the New York Film Academy with a M.F.A. in Cinematography.
During the program, I acquired valuable skills and knowledge about many different cameras, film equipment, and the industry. I was lucky enough to have wonderful instructors and I had the privilege & pleasure of learning from and working with Anthony B. Richmond, ASC, BSC, Jacek Laskus, ASC & Gilbert Shilton among many others. I have since graduated and work freelance as a Cinematographer as well as Camera Operator or 1st Assistant Camera. I strive to learn more about new developments in the industry and increase my technical knowledge every day.
